We are proud to announce the opening of Que Onda, Mexican restaurant and bar in Chicago’s Edison Park’s neighborhood.
Que Onda is a corner Mexican restaurant at 6701 N. Northwest Highway and N. Oliphant.
The word “authentic” is used to describe almost every Mexican restaurant on the planet. But what separates us from other Mexican restaurants in Chicago is the skill in our kitchen, the freshness of our ingredients, and the absolute passion and desire of our staff and ownership to provide you with the best, most delicious Mexican fare you can get. And, we believe, our food is not only fantastic, but is also priced fairly so that you may enjoy a great Mexican food experience at a great value.
This also translates to what Que Onda offers from our bar service. Of course we have the BEST margarita in town! But you should also know that when you come to Que Onda, our cocktails are carefully crafted to give you true taste of Mexico. Our whiskeys come from Mexico. Our rum comes from Mexico. And much of our beer comes from Mexico.
Our goal is to be your destination not only for amazing Mexican food and drink, but to be your place to gather with friends and family for any occasion, big or small.
Come in and experience the beauty of small, neighborhood Mexican cantina-styled restaurant in Edison Park. Our walls are decorated with old Mexican pelicula posters, the ceilings are adorned with hanging Edison bulbs, and we have two garage-style doors that open to give an open-air feel and great view of bustling N. Northwest Highway in Chicago.
Our neighbor to the north is Irish pub The Curragh. If we are on a wait, you are welcome to enjoy The Curragh for a drink and we will buzz you when your table is ready.
We welcome you to Que Onda and we are thrilled to be part of the Edison Park restaurant community.
